Vendors and Suppliers Might Not be Your Partners

Written by Ahmad Chayati | Feb 17, 2019 10:20:33 AM

A partnership is when two or more people or companies work together as partners. The definition of being a partner is clear- we either win together or lose together, and that is why partners always support each other.

In today's corporate environment, it is frustrating when companies label themselves as partners, while their policy and behavior indicate the opposite. Companies that win at your expense are not your partners. They might be suppliers or vendors- but not partners.

Partners are those who only win when you win. Partners do not hire competitors or compete with you. Partners do not ask you to foot the bill when they know the customer is not paying. Label those companies any way you want, but they are not partners.

A partnership is as old as humanity, and it has helped us move forward. Our ability to establish and cultivate meaningful connections has helped us create a world where anything is possible. When there is a true partnership, great things happen, like innovation and growth.

So help us protect partnerships and bring joy and true collaboration back into the corporate world.
